Guitar and Bass Lessons
Cordell Music offers lessons to guitar and bass students ranging in experience from beginner to advanced. Depending on your musical goals, we can set up a custom lesson plan suited specifically for your needs.

All students are required to provide their own instrument, amp, tuner, and metronome. You may also be required to purchase additional materials in the form of study books or sheet music. These items can be easily found online or from Sam Ash Music on Cobb Parkway. Please contact us for details.
Music Theory and Songwriting
For those who are interested in studying music theory at the high school or university level, or those who are just interested in learning a bit more about the western music system, we can help!
The phrase "music theory" scares some musicians away, as they see it as a daunting and cerebral endeavor that takes away from the joy of music. We see it as the opposite. Western music theory is a fascinating world, and becoming more familiar with it will allow you to speak to other musicians in a common language.
If you would like to learn more about song writing, arranging, song analyzing, chord structure, voice leading, or any of the other mechanics of music, we can help. If you're having trouble in your high school or higher education theory courses, we can help with that too! Contact us today, and begin your journey towards a deeper understanding of the art of music.
Music Production
The world of electronic music is no longer an underground movement. With rap, electro-house, dubstep, r&b, and many other genres and genre crossovers fully embracing synthesized sound, the world of music has now changed forever.
If you're interested in producing tracks for the club but don't know where to start, Cordell Music can help. If you'd like to know how and what the pros are using to create today's hits, 1-on-1 hands-on lessons are available in a fully functional project studio environment. You'll learn about beat production, live performance, control surface interfacing, listening room setup, and everything else that is necessary to get your sound to the masses. You'll take trips to large Atlanta studios to see how the pros do it. Contact us today for more info.
Keith Cordell received his B.S. in Recording Industry Management - Production and Technology from MTSU in 2005, and has since worked with a number of festival headlining acts over the past 8 years.
Reception DJs
Our wedding DJs will provide professional equipment, professional sound, and a professional attitude. A good wedding DJ will not only be a knowledgeable music selector but will also be the master of ceremonies for the reception, regulating the flow of the evening.
We will coordinate with you well in advance to plan all special dances and toasts, as well as to find out what kind of music you would like to hear. We understand that at weddings we will be playing to people of all ages and all backgrounds. We aim to stay respectful and considerate of all guests at the celebration. Again, our goal is to execute your vision.
Please let us know once you have chosen your reception venue, and we will discuss the appropriate sound system and any add-on equipment that you may need such as wireless microphones or lavaliers.
If you have any questions or would like more specific information regarding our DJs, audio equipment, or policies, please contact us.
